About Me
I have been practicing Interior Design for 40 years through my firm Tamra Rubin Design, which has had a diverse set of clients in the residential and corporate fields.
The quality of a design does not occur by chance. It is the direct result of desire, vision, passionate zeal, thoughtful effort, and skilled delivery. From beginning to end, the underlying nature of my work relies on communication, and the relationship with my clients, in that, I am able to translate my client’s personality and desire into the end result.
A native of Montreal, I graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, then proceeded to Dawson College with a DEC in Interior Design and finally a Business Practices program at McGill University. I opened my own practice in 1983, and have been an accredited member of APDIQ and IDC since 1980. My work has been featured over the years in numerous Canadian publications.
